2020 – Le Carnage
Le Carnage – A woman makes a last ditch venture out into the post apocalyptic wastelands of Somerville to search for food and her lost husband, but someone seems to be watching her.
Description: Obnots’ 19th movie, and third in 2020! For our required genre we drew Sci-fi or Food Film. For our required elements, we had to use a balloon for the prop, ‘Piper or Prescott, plastic surgeon’ for the character, and the line “He’ll be right back.” Le Carnage made it to the Boston Best of Screening where it was nominated for Best Cinematography, Best Use of Line, Best Costumes, Safe Sets Award (a Covid-19 safety award), and Best Film! We only won Best Use of Line, but it was exciting to be nominated for the other things. This is version 2 with fixes here and there, more apocalyptic VFX added, and about 20 seconds of extra footage added.

Description: The small four-person cast and crew take their turns acting and being part of the crew. Some funny moments occur here and there. Watch to the end for an obscene number of takes of Joed delivering one of his lines as the show host.
