The War of Two Sides – A man decides he must travel with his toddler through a dangerous and war-torn landscape to find perhaps the last person remaining who hasn’t taken a side in the apocalyptic conflict between two violent factions.
Description: Team Obnots did a crazy thing this year – we had a crew in Somerville, MA and also one in Fairbanks, AK, brainstorming and shooting from both locations. Believe it or not, we were on time for our fourteenth movie! We got ‘war or anti-war movie’ as our genre. We also had to use a bracelet as the prop, the line of dialogue “I couldn’t have said it better myself“, and the character ‘Lauren or Lawrence Soto, Mentor’. Hop aboard for a journey through the serious and the absurd. This is version 2, with a few minor adjustments. This film screened at the 48HFP Best Of Boston screening and we won ‘Best Cinematography’ and were also nominated for: Best Actor (Raif), Best Costumes, Best Use of Dialogue, Best Use of Genre, and Best Script.

Description: For The War of Two Sides we had two crews shooting – one in Somerville, MA and one 3200 miles away in Fairbanks, AK. Assembled here are all the leftover outtakes, bloopers, and other behind-the-scenes moments. 10% of this is probably footage of our 18-month old actress staring into the lens of the camera with squinty eyed looks of suspicion.
